I had planned one more city trip this year: Dublin! There I wanted to visit my friend Marie, who I had not seen in a while. This time I was only able to do a short trip – Friday night I left after work and Monday morning I arrived back and went straight to the office again. A bit exhausting, but it was definitely worth it! After a long girls night, I woke up next day to this view:

Not too bad, right? Off we were to a stroll through the center of Dublin which is of manageable size and

you can actually see everything quite well in a day. From Trinity College, to the Temple Bar area, to St. Patrick’s Cathedral. And we also had time for some shopping in between!

A successful day where we met an incredible amount of nice people. My impression of the Irish: Very open and hospitable, as well as helpful!

Next day we went on a day trip to Howth. The little town is located at the ocean and you can go on a nice hike up a panoramic mountain (hill). But before we started, we needed an Irish breakfast of course!

After gaining some energy, we started the hike. It was a grey they, but luckily it never really rained. And sometimes a bit of a gloomy atmosphere makes for a nice setting too, right? 🙂

All in all I spent a nice weekend in Dublin and saw a lot during just two days. If you want to see more pictures, please click on the beer below!
